Stairwell windows are taking shape. I’ve been dying to see what this is going to look like. It’s been plywooded (is that even a word) over from the beginning. These tall windows are the next ones going in.
Yet another error in window sizing. Instead of a 2’x7′ window we got a 3’x7′ one. This was discovered just as we were about to put it in. Renovation time again. Irritating, but the bigger window is quite nice and gives a nice view as you come up the stairs.
Less and less plywood. The yellow house is turning white. It’s that evil Lannister, Tyvek, taking over. You’ll get yours.
More interesting plants were also discovered.
Close up of the Mock Orange (Philadelphus lewisii).
And close up of the Black Hawthorne (Crataegus douglasii) blooms.
Not sure what this is. Looks like some kind of Hydrangea. I’ll get back to you on that one.
Guessed that this was a Chokecherry (Prunus virginiana). Guess what? I was right.
