….Well, deck.
Okay, this shot has nothing to do with the deck. The Okanagan is turning green. Soon it will turn brown.
Deck joists. These bad boys will be supporting thousands of kilograms of concrete. I nailed in almost 300 4″ nails into the ledger which supports the deck against the house. I got real good at nailing with my left arm. It took the pressure off the right by splitting the nailing duty.
The bump out is for the stairs down to the yard. I felt nervous standing on the edge of this when I was screwing it down.
Side trip upstairs. Shower room in my studio space. Graphic design is sweaty work.

Entrance to the deck from main floor. Feng shui of the stairs in front of the door is probably questionable.
I find a deck is more comfortable with sheathing on it.
